These voyages are aimed at young people under 25. These trips have been scheduled to coincide with the school and university holidays for maximum convenience.
Unlike our sail training weeks, which are structured for disadvantaged young people, these voyages are aimed at all young people looking for an adventure or a way to learn more about sailing.
These are a great way to meet like-minded people of a similar age, make new friends, and have fun together as you learn to sail a traditional boat to some great places.
Under the direction of our professional skipper you will be working with your crewmates and be responsible for all aspects of running the vessel. For our Residentials, no previous sailing experience is required.
Many young people book individually, but with the busy life aboard, and the teamwork required to sail these boats, you’ll be friends with everyone on your voyage before you know it.
As Trinity is an Approved Activity Provider for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, any of our Adventure Sailing voyages can count towards your Gold Residential.
As an experienced provider of residential activities we operate within a structure of Standard Operating Procedures and policies. All activities you will be involved in have been risk assessed and we can provide copies of these assessments, as well as vessel and insurance certification, on request. If you, or your parents or carers, would like further information please call the office and speak to one of the team.
Trinity is an approved provider for many local educational authorities. Our staff are experienced in working with young people as well as in seamanship and all have enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service checks. They will work with everyone on your voyage to ensure that you have a safe and really enjoyable adventure at sea.
