Our Partners

Working with our delivery partners

Trinity works exclusively in partnership with a range or organisations including; schools and colleges, social services, youth services, foster care organisations, youth support organisations, community groups, special needs schools and the probation service.

Our approach is to involve their staff (teachers, key workers, youth workers etc.) throughout the experience as we know this helps break down barriers and builds new and positive relationships between the young people and adult staff. It is these new foundations that embed the outcomes of our work into an on-going process of personal development and that form the basis for lasting change.

Our partners consistently say that our approach is the best way they know of engaging with ‘hard-to-reach’ young people and capturing their imagination. For some of those who come to us it is a life-changing experience, but all benefit in a number of ways.

We always welcome an initial meeting with youth workers, teachers etc when we can talk through our sail training in more depth and they can meet our team and see the vessels first-hand. By working together early on we can better understand the needs and objectives of the group involved and we are then far better placed to design a programme that meets, and hopefully exceeds, their expectations.

To find out more or to arrange an informal meeting to discuss sail training opportunities, please call Julia, Harry, or Ben on +44 (0) 1803 883355 or contact us by email.

Working with our funding partners & sponsors

Our mission is made possible by the support of numerous Trusts and Foundations, businesses and individuals (e.g. our Friends of Trinity ). Their generous grants and donations are the lifeblood of our work and ensure that we can continue to offer our sail training to those young people who most need it and preserve the iconic heritage vessels in our care.

We always welcome a visit by our funders and supporters when we can show you around the vessels and you can meet some of the young people we work with and see the vessels first-hand. Our vessels are always available when in Brixham and at times during the season we can arrange a visit in other ports around the UK. Please call the office if you would like to arrange a meeting.

If you would like to find out more about how you, or the organisation/business your represent, can partner Trinity to support our work please give Julia McDade a call or send an email.

From our Patrons, Trustees and the team at Trinity we would like to thank everyone who supports our work.
