Sailing holidays for families and groups
If you would like to share sailing holidays with a family group, friends or work colleagues, why not charter one of our vessels for your exclusive use? We offer very attractive rates for group bookings and can tailor your cruise to meet your specific requirements.
In 2014 The Royal Scottish Geographical Society and The Friends of Hugh Miller jointly led a replica voyage round the Inner Hebrides which Hugh Miller — the Scottish geologist, writer and folklorist —made in 1844, as recorded in his book, The Cruise of the Betsey.
You too can charter our vessels for a week, or more, of sailing around a range of fabulous destinations across the UK, whether is a friends and family group, or for a team-building exercise.
Many of our regular charter clients say that taking whole boat is a great way to get family and friends together for a holiday ‘all in one place’, and where everyone gets to share in the experience of life under traditional sail, at their own pace.
Following their family holiday, Tim got in touch with us:
“We are writing to let you know just how much we have appreciated the time we spent on Leader this last week. The trip was brilliant, the boat just amazing, the crew very friendly, the food superb, the weather good enough and we had some excellent sailing. The whole party, from the 7 year old to the 71 year old, had a fantastic time”.
A regular family sailing holiday organiser Bruce said:
“I would just like to say once again how much we enjoyed a truly marvellous Brittany Cruise aboard Leader last week. We are all agreed that it was a most successful trip and even the lack of wind during Saturday’s regatta didn’t detract from the enjoyment of the day. All the staff were particularly helpful and hard-working throughout the trip and they helped to make it a most enjoyable experience for everyone. And we wish to record a unanimous and sincere vote of thanks for your boat handling skill and excellent leadership. It was a great holiday aboard a well maintained boat and all the staff were a credit to Trinity Sailing”.
Following their recent (stag) weekend on Provident, Alan said:
“10 blokes who love sailing had the best weekend you could wish for: along with 4 professional and very friendly skipper and crew, we were variously deckhands, sail trimmers, navigator and helm; we are fed and watered very well and frequently; we saw the magnificent Start Bay and Torbay and the coast between; and over-nighted in Dartmouth and enjoyed some time ashore. This was not a stag event of high jinks and excessive alcohol consumption; it was an opportunity for good sailing, good conversation and good fun”.
