Spend your weekend in Tor Bay and spent two-nights on Golden Vanity, offering the best seats in the house for The 2019 Torbay Airshow. Last year’s event attracted more than 165,000 visitors across the bay, trying to get in the best position to witness the RAF Red Arrows with other displays from the likes of OV-10 Bronco, City of Exeter Spitfire, The Blades, RAF Grob Tutor, Autogyro, Aerosuperbatics Wingwalking Formation, the Tigers Freefall Parachute Display Team, and the RAF Typhoon Display Team. Round of your weekend with a spot of sailing.
Now in it’s third year, this popular themed-voyage returns on Golden Vanity with renowned Trinity skipper and Brixham artist Toni Knights. Set sail to a different picturesque harbour or anchorage each evening and get the best tips for capturing the surrounding nautical scenes and lapping waves.
Heritage History Cruise
Trinity’s Op Director, Ben Wheatley — otherwise known as Wheatleypedia — will be leading this four-night voyage on Provident passing on his vast knowledge of gaff-rigged vessels, the birth of Brixham Trawlers, Devon’s role in the Second World War and the Napoleonic Wars.
Back for a second year, guest chefs will be stepping on board Leader and Provident offering three-course seafood feasts as part of a weekend cruise, which forms part of the annual celebration of Torbay’s thriving fishing industry — The Seafood Feast.
Scottish Music Cruise
Back by popular demand, our music cruise will again be taking place on the west coast of Scotland and we will have two guest musicians on board adding to the atmosphere as you navigate the Scottish Isles and surrounding lochs.
Expect energetic fiddle sessions and the gentle melodies of folk songs echoing from inside Leader’s saloon.
Our popular wildlife cruise will be running again on Leader, sailing around the Inner Hebrides, with our resident wildlife expert and author Kenny Taylor (BBC, National Geographic). He will be helping guests look out for whales, basking sharks, puffins, otters, gannets, guillemots, eagles, and red deer.
One of our favourite places to visit is Lunga. The main attraction is the many thousands of breeding puffins which allow visitors to approach to within a few feet of them, along with the breathtaking guillemot colonies.
