Join Golden Vanity for two nights of cruising before the Sunday race and festivities and then head home after lunch on bank holiday Monday.

The Classic Channel Regatta

Join Provident for this popular biennial sailing extravaganza. This is a voyage for those who enjoy a blend of racing, passage making and informal parties. Although termed a ‘race’, it’s good natured and fairly relaxed.

The regatta will start from Dartmouth, with the first leg finishing at St Peter Port —where there will be a party in Guernsey Yacht Club. The second leg of the Classic Channel Race will set off from there to Paimpol, followed by the Round Île de Bréhat Race before the fleet sails up the Trieux River, to Lezardrieux, for the night.  The next morning the fleet will sail round to Paimpol where a Grand Parade-of-Sail will enter the harbour as a central part of the town’s July 14th Bastille Day celebrations. The fleet will remain in port during the afternoon and in the evening the regatta will finish with a prize giving, crew supper and soirée in the town’s Salle des Fêtes followed by the town’s fireworks display before the vessels head back home.

Paimpol 2017

The Paimpol Festival is in mid-August and is always one of our first cruises to sell-out. For that reason both Leader and Provident will be heading over this year. The attractive harbour will be packed with boats from all around the world. On shore there is much in the way of music, sea shanties, maritime crafts, food, and drink. Invited vessels line the harbour walls and are encouraged to leave their sails up to be admired. This is the highlight of an 10-day voyage to Brittany, providing extra time to explore some of the stunning destinations dotted along the north-west coast of France
