Dozens of hard-working working volunteers have been giving up their spare time over the last few weeks to help make preparations for the new sailing season.
Operations Manager Ben Wheatley has spent the latter part of 2015 orchestrating the derig of Trinity’s fleet of vessels, and has been supported by his crew and an army of hard-working volunteers.
He said: “I would like to thank all the volunteers and who have come to Brixham over the last few weeks to help with de-rigging and the ongoing maintenance of our vessels.
“This has been a really successful and productive maintenance period. Thanks to all the hard work from the volunteers we’ve completed all the tasks we set out to do in good time, and also made some really good progress with on-going refit tasks, putting us in a really strong position to begin our main refit period in the new year.
“We will be emailing our volunteers soon with a refit schedule for 2016 so that as many of you as possible can get involved. We intend to continue the successful volunteer maintenance weekends which attracted so many of you in 2015.”
If anyone would like to come down to help with maintenance in early 2016, please contact Ben via firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone on 01803 88 33 55.
