The Foundation & Sail Training

Trinity Sailing Foundation operates a small fleet of historic sailing vessels…

We are a charity working to change the lives of disadvantaged young people. Our not-for-profit organisation is part-funded by offering Cruises (sailing holidays), RYA Courses, Duke of Edinburgh Residentials and Expeditions.

Our Sailing Holidays

Get away from it all and join us for a sailing holiday on one of our three historic and traditional sailing vessels, visiting some of the most popular cruising areas across Europe (Brittany, Channel Islands, West Coast of Scotland, Isles of Scilly, Cornwall and Devon). No experience is required; we welcome solo travellers and group bookings for all of our voyages.

You will experience a mix of hands-on activity at sea, exploration ashore, new adventures each day, along with ample time to truly relax. Visit a different port or pretty anchorage each day. Our sailing breaks are typically for a week, though some are longer and we offer weekend breaks.

Our Sail Training

We help hundreds of disadvantaged people every year of all ethnicities and social backgrounds, ranging from school children to war veterans, hailing from across the UK. Join us on a  sail training voyage of self discovery in a unique and often life-changing setting.

The concentrated nature of the experience we provide, coupled with the unique environment, produces marked changes in outlook and behaviour in a very short time. Young people return to regular life with new attitudes and confidence, from their time tall ship sailing, that provide lasting changes as they make the transition in to adult life.
