The Trinity Sailing team is urging shoppers in Torquay to show their support for our charity.
During April we are competing against two other local charities for people’s support at Waitrose Torquay, as part the retailer’s Community Matters initiative.
By placing a token in the Community Matters box at the branch, in St Mary Church Road, shoppers can decided which charity they want to support.
At the checkout shoppers receive a token to place in a box of the good cause they would most like to support. The more tokens a cause gets, the bigger the donation they receive.
Harry Gottschalk, Trinity’s Marketing & Sales Manager, said: “We’re very grateful for the Torquay branch of Waitrose featuring us in their Community Matters scheme for April. We urge people in Torbay to show their support and use their token for our charity which supports hundreds of disadvantaged young people each year through sail training.”
